So, I guess, I’ll shave my legs.

Host-parasite manipulation or Crib:
A female wasp punctures a female ladybug at her belly
to paralyze her and to implant an egg. The wasp larva feasts
on the ladybug’s abdomen until it tears her belly open
to begin cocooning, as a prepupa, between her legs.

To bring (the wings) close to the body, as a bird on alighting
