Rachel Eliza Griffiths is a poet and visual artist. She is the author of three collections of poetry and has received numerous fellowships including Cave Canem Foundation, Provincetown Fine Arts Work Center, Millay Colony, Vermont Studio Center, and others. Her visual and literary work has appeared widely. Griffiths' video project, P.O.P (Poets on Poetry), a virtual conversation of over 80 contemporary poets, will be featured on the Academy of American Poets website throughout the year. She is the Co-Founder of Dumbo Sky, a cultural arts venue located at her Brooklyn studio. Her forthcoming collection, Lighting the Shadow, will be published by Four Way Books in 2015.
