I’ve always enjoyed and been inspired by cities, which I tend to think of as “urban landscapes” when I’m hiking through them. After having seen an amazing night time photo series entitled “La Ciudad Dormida”, I found myself pondering all the creativity which is alive in urban settings. Eventually, well after midnight, the thoughts settled into something like a poem which I named after its inspiration.
After having received a little moleskin notebook as a gift, I started trying to arrange ideas previously written on scraps of paper, into poems. I enjoy trying to sculpt inspired thoughts into words and phrases. I am thankful to be growing closer to this form of expression.
